Quick Calc Hydraulics provides a snapshot of the hydraulic horsepower, jet velocity, and impact forces created at a jet nozzle orifice, which is installed in a drilling bit during earth-boring operations. The user provides numbers for fluid density, flow rates, TFA, and bit diameter, and Quick Calc Hydraulics then calculates the respective hydraulic parameters for conventional drilling fluids. Air, mist, and foam fluids are not supported at this time. The calculated results can be forwarded to anyone in the user’s contact list.

Usefull app...
On the positive note I will not say they are, but everyone will find something for themselves. Of the minuses: You can not change the unit of measurement for each value separately. Since the company the Smith Bits is part of Schlumberger you need to add the ability to calculate the bit pressure drop based Flow Restrictor for PowerDrive and add value to HydraulicsThrust for Motors of PPak

Good, but might be better
Overall positive impression, but app lacks some flexibility in units, would be much more convenient if units could be changed separately and more than only 2 units (i.e. flowrate in l/sec and l/min would help). And the really embarrassing thing is when you switch between units, all the data you input before just disappears.
